The Create Inventory Lot button lets you add a new lot to your inventory with all the details needed for it to display in your system and on the Homefinder Map (if enabled).
How to Create a Lot
From the Inventory – Addresses page, click + Create Inventory Lot.
A form will open with fields for lot information.
Required Information
When creating a lot, you’ll need to enter:
Lot Details – Lot number, block, phase, parcel ID, and community.
Address – Begin typing the street address, and suggestions will automatically appear in a dropdown for you to select.
Plan & Elevation – Choose the floor plan and elevation assigned to this lot.
Pricing – Enter the home or lot price.
Size – Lot size and plan size.
Property Details – Availability date, description, and other specifics.
Geospatial Data – Mapping details to ensure the lot appears correctly on the Homefinder Map. Contact the Customer Success team to have our Map Engineering team update the geospatial data (CADs and Plats are required).
⚠️ Some fields are required. If these are left blank, you won’t be able to save the lot.
Saving the Lot
Review all details entered.
Click Save & Continue to create the lot.
The new lot will appear in your Inventory – Addresses grid and, if enabled, on the Homefinder Map.
✅ Once saved, you can go back anytime to edit details, upload media, or disable it from the map.
