The Communities section under Admin Settings is where you can create and manage all communities in your system. Communities serve as the foundation for your inventory, floor plans, lots, and builder data.
Communities List View
When you open Admin Settings > Communities, you’ll see a grid of existing communities.
Each row in the grid shows:
ID – The system-generated identifier.
Name – The name of the community.
Slug – A unique URL-friendly identifier.
Description – Notes or details about the community.
💡 Use the filters at the top of each column to quickly find a community.
Adding a New Community
From the Communities page, click + New Community.
Complete the required details:
Basic Details
Name – Community name.
Slug – Unique identifier.
Description – Optional notes.
Location
City, State, Postal Code, Country – Enter the location information.
Map Settings
Map Theme – Select a map theme for the community.
Configure Map – Customize the homefinder map for this community. This includes:
Available filters
Display options
Lot card customization
Mapbox Settings
Mapbox Access Token / Style – Add tokens if applicable.
Marketing Email List
Marketing Emails List – Tie an email list for community campaigns.
Geospatial Data
Latitude & Longitude – Coordinates for location.
Centerpoint (WKT) – The central map point.
Polygon (WKT) – Defines boundaries.

Editing or Deleting an Existing Community
From the Communities list, select the community to update.
Edit any details such as description, map settings, or geospatial data.
Click Update Community to confirm your changes.
To delete a community, click the trash can icon in the community record.
⚠️ Deleted communities are permanently removed from the system and cannot be recovered.
