Easily customize your Homefinder map from within a community’s settings. The Configure Map option under Map Settings lets you control filters, display options, and lot card customization to match your community’s needs.
How to Access Map Configuration
Go to Admin Settings → Communities.
Select the community you’d like to update.
Under Map Settings, click Configure Map.
This opens the configuration page where you can manage all map-related settings.
Available Filters
Choose which filters appear on the map interface for buyers:
Price – Set min/max price ranges.
Bed & Bath – Filter by bedroom and bathroom counts.
Builder – Show available builders.
Move-In – Add date picker or quick date buttons.
Sort – Enable sorting options.
Acreage – Filter by lot acreage.
Display Mode
Choose how the map and grid interface is presented to users:
Default (Map & Grid) - Shows both map and grid with toggle option
Map Expanded - Map is shown in full/expanded view by default. Grid available via toggle.
Grid View - Grid is shown by default. Map available by toggle
Grid Only - Only grid view is shown. No map option available
Display Options
Control what map and grid features users can access:
Grid View Toggle – Switch between grid and map views.
Quick Move-In Dates – Show quick date selection buttons.
Floor Plans Button – Add a button to view floor plans.
Lot Card Customization
Tailor the lot cards shown on the consumer map:
Upload a placeholder image – Shown when no lot image is available.
Choose display attributes – Select up to 3 details to show, such as:
Listing Price
Beds/Baths
Sq Ft
Acreage
Lot cards update instantly in the preview on the right.
⚠️ Note: Only three attributes can be displayed at one time.
Reset to Defaults
If you want to undo your changes, use the Reset to Defaults option to restore the original settings.
Preview & Save
Use Preview Map to check your changes live.
Click Save Configuration to apply your settings.
⚠️ Saved changes will immediately update how the map appears to buyers.
